Im planning on boosting my 7mgte that im putting into my 87 4runner to about 300HP I havent started the swap yet but i got everything i need. Im just looking for the best option for my trans.

Make a custom bell housing (supra housing to a R151f bellhousing)

Or R154 guts into a R150.

What's better? whats easier? what do most swappers recomend?

The R150/R154 combo is a little more difficult. For the price of a donor R154, you will be able to buy one of my bellhousings, or someone elses if they beat me to it.

R150 with bellhousing would be much easier though.

Well i can get a blow up R150 for cheap and i alreay have a R154 sitting in the donor car. But i still have to buy a $300 adapter too for my chain drivin T-cases and i really dont want the gear ratios from the R154.
Comon! whats up with the bellhousing development Laughing
