Replaced the studs that broke on my hub. Had to put in a few helicoils since the ones that didn' break were sloppy in the threads. I may go out wheling next weekend. It's been sitting since Moab.

Just thought I would share

Great. I can't believe you let it sit that long though. Too fun to drive to let sit that long, especially when you go turbo...which is how far away paul?

I got a 87 factory 22RTE truck. I know it's not 7MGTE but maybe when it blows I will swap. Right now I just drive it around. I got hassled by a state trooper last time I drove my 4Runner for bumper hight. Besides its summer and I still havn't put the AC in yet. Humidity sucks here.

What I still got to do.
fix some broken leaf springs. I got to pick up a new center pin. All my spares have been used.
Rebuilt Clutch Slave. I got the kit, just got to start
Remount Rear Bumper. Took a few to many hits, nothing a welder cant fix
ballance tires. I got them mounted by a few friends and crow bars.

Go Wheeling, maybe next weekend

OK I havn't gone wheeling, but I did drive it today. WEEE that was fun. I even did some urban wheeling. There is this bank between to parkinglots. All concreat, but about 30 degree/ I like to idle up it when I get a chance, its just a little longer then my wheel base.

On a side note, I went to the highway opatrol here to ask about the bumper law, and try to get the book. Well they had no idea how to get the book. had no idea where to measure the bumper at. basicly jus saiid look on the internet. And to cap it all of I was talking to this rookie who must have been about 22, and he studdered.

yeah, just look online. There are several places that post it, and then usually most states have all the laws online.

Got a inspection ticket for it all, had 20% tint on my sides( ripped it off), got smaller tire instead of getting flares and that took care of the ride height too. Also had a cherokee i was selling with 35% tint (legal)on my sides, went to the MVA to get it inspected 34% (failed). AC added 1% tint to the window and they failed me. I was so pissed. Ohh well what can you do but listen to the MAN!!

ive always had really dark tint on my 4runner, whenever i go to get it inspected i just roll the front windows down and they never bother to check, ive only gotten called out for it maybe once in the last 8 years of it being that way, even then i just drove down the street and had someone else do it.

sucks about the ride height and tire width laws, dont have any of that here in NC
